Metacentric Internet Limited was incorporated in April 2004. The company represents the business interests of the Web developer reference site Code Style and ebook publishing imprint One Percent Better.

Metacentric launched the ebook imprint One Percent Better to publish the Code Style FAQ ebook series.

27 July 2006, Web Feed Generator service closed

The public Web Feed Generator subscription service closed but continues to provide dozens of news feeds for Code Style.

The Metacentric news feed and metadata service was launched on 22 June 2005.
