Philip Shaw is the creator of the popular Code Style reference site for Web developers and wrote the software systems on which the Web Feed Generator operates.

Philip has been involved in commercial Internet publishing since 1997, when he was lead content researcher and sub-editor for the Archant newspaper group's Web publishing start-up, Eastern Counties Network.

In 1999 Philip moved to Anglia Multimedia, under the ownership of United News and Media to develop the ground-breaking Norwich City Football Club Web site and the company's successful digital interactive television trials for the UK Department for Education.

In the summer of 2000 Philip joined the electronic publishing team at TSO, a major publisher of government titles in the United Kingdom. Philip managed the migration of several key reference works to XML-based content management systems and was TSO's primary representative to the Department of the e-Envoy's e-Government Interoperability Framework working group.
