Q:Which terms should I choose?

A: If in doubt, choose our consumer terms and conditions, which give you more personal protection under British and European law. You must use our business terms if you are creating an account on behalf of a business or other formal organisation of some sort.

Q:What if I don't accept these terms?

A: If you do not accept our terms, we will not let you create a Web Feed Generator service account. We must have an agreed basis to work together. Any personal details you submit before you decline our terms will not be retained.

Q:How do I get out of this agreement?

A: Details are included in our consumer and business terms of service. In short, you must request cancellation in writing and we will shut down your account on receipt. You must pay any outstanding service charges.

If you choose to cancel this agreement, you should first shut down your Web Feed Generator service using the Change service status screen and remove any feed links from your site.

Q:What do the marketing options mean?

A: Normally, Metacentric will only send you email that is strictly related to Web Feed Generator service configuration and payment. We have separate opt-in settings for marketing messages so you control the way we use your email address. Our marketing messages might include press releases we send to journalists and more general promotional offers. If you choose the third party marketing option, we may send you promotional messages from other organisations we work with. We will never pass your email to anyone else.
